TRAC Builders was hired by the owner of this 1852 Burgess Nightingale Historic Home on Prospect Street to complete a major renovation and addition while still preserving much of the historic features of the home. Although structurally sound, the owner decided to upgrade many of the rooms and living spaces to accommodate their growing family. Some of the amazing features include an outdoor patio what was enclosed and turned into a light filled day room as well as a state of the art kitchen. One of the most striking features of the property include the outdoor patio area added as well as the rooftop deck that is perched high atop College Hill offering spectacular view of downtown Providence. TRAC was successfully able to complete this old meets new project by incorporating modern systems into the historic structure in order to preserve the historic integrity of the home.
The property was recently profiled in the Providence Journal June Lifebeat section, titled "old places, new spaces". It was also featured in the Providence Preservation Society's 2013 Festival of Historic Houses. TRAC Builders is a long time supporter of the Providence Preservation Society and continues to build a portfolio of high end urban and historic preservation projects.
